Redundant Power Supplies for Use with Your
Switch
The
4220 Series switch contains a fixed internal AC power
supply that supplies the power needed for most switch operations. Switch models
4220-4MW-20P-4X and
4220-8MW-40P-4X provide the option to add an external redundant power supply
(RPS) for power redundancy and a higher PoE budget. The following redundant power
supplies are available:
- The 550 W external AC RPS (part
no. RPS-550W) is only supported on model 4220-4MW-20P-4X.
- The 950 W external AC RPS (part no. RPS-950W) is only supported on model 4220-8MW-40P-4X.
