Configures device settings such as maintenance mode.

Parameters

--config-backup-periodic-enable { Yes | No }: Specify Yes to enable periodic configuration backup and No to disable it.
--config-backup-interval interval: Specifies configuration backup interval, in minutes. Valid values are 3m through 30h. Example: 99m or 1h20m or 20m, the default is 24h.
--crypto-cert-expiry-info string: Specifies number of days before certificate expiry after which SNMP trap is generated. Range is 1 to 90 days, 0 to deconfigure.
--crypto-cert-expiry-minor string: Specifies number of days before certificate expiry after which SNMP trap is generated. Range is 1 to 90 days, 0 to deconfigure.
--crypto-cert-expiry-major string: Specifies number of days before certificate expiry after which SNMP trap is generated. Range is 1 to 90 days, 0 to deconfigure.
--crypto-cert-expiry-critical string: Specifies number of days before certificate expiry after which SNMP trap is generated. Range is 1 to 90 days, 0 to deconfigure.
--fabric fabric-name: Specify the name of the fabric.
--health-check-enable { Yes | No }: Specify Yes to enable health check and No to disable it.
--health-check-interval minutes: Health check interval in seconds/minutes, valid values for Fabric device 6m-24h, valid values for NPB device 30s-24h Example. 30s or 99m or 1h20m or 20m, default 6m for Fabric device, 30s for NPB device.
--health-check-heartbeat-miss-threshold { 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 }: Specifies the health check miss threshold. Default is 2.
--ip device-ips: Specifies a comma-separated range of device IP addresses. For example:
10.1.1.13,10.1.1.50,10.1.1.101.
--ip-dhcp-relay-disable-flooding { Yes | No }: Enter Yes to disable flooding for DHCP broadcast packets from CPU. Valid values are Yes/No. Default value is "". This configuration is supported from the firmware version 20.5.3.
--ip-option-disable { Yes | No }: Enter Yes to disable processing IP packets with ip options. Enter No to enable processing IP packets with ip options.
--ip-option-disable-cpu { Yes | No }: Enter Yes to disable processing IP packets with IP options destined to the CPU. Enter No to enable processing IP packets with IP options destined to the CPU.
--ipv6-option-disable { Yes | No }: Enter Yes to disable processing IPV6 packets with IP options. Enter No to enable processing IPV6 packets with IP options. This parameter is not supported on SLX9540 and SLC9640.
--maint-mode-enable-on-reboot { Yes | No }: Specify Yes to activate maintenance mode on reboot and No to deactivate it.
--maint-mode-enable { Yes | No }: Specify Yes to activate maintenance mode and No to deactivate it.
--maint-mode-convergence-time time: Specifies the maximum time, in seconds, that maintenance mode is allowed to complete operations. Valid values are 100-500. Default is 300. Set a value of 0 to deconfigure.
--mct-bring-up-delay delay: Specifies delay, in seconds, before an MCT cluster bring up. Valid values are 10-600. Default is 90. Set a value of 0 to deconfigure.
--maximum-load-sharing-paths string: Specifies the route load-sharing maximum paths. Valid values are 8,16,32,64,128, and 0 to deconfigure.
--maximum-ipv6-prefix-length-64 string: Enter Yes to configure the maximum route prefix length of 64. This configuration is applicable for Extreme 8820, 8720, 8520 hardware.
--number-of-config-backups count: Specifies configuration backup count. Valid values are 2-20. The default is 4.
--password-expiry-critical string: Number of days before expiry to generate critical level alert. Valid range is between 1-90 and 0 to de-configure.
--password-expiry-major string: Number of days before expiry to generate major level alert. Valid range is between 1-90 and 0 to de-configure.
--password-expiry-minor string: Number of days before expiry to generate minor level alert. Valid range is between 1-90 and 0 to de-configure.
--password-expiry-info string: Number of days before expiry to generate info level alert. Valid range is between 1-90 and 0 to de-configure.
--prefix-independent-convergence { Yes | No }: Specify Yes to enable BGP PIC and No to de-configure it.
--prefix-independent-convergence-static { Yes | No }: Specify Yes to enable Static PIC and No to de-configure it.
--peer-group-ipv6-prefix-over-ipv4-peer { Yes | No }: Enter Yes to enable the peer group ipv6prefix over ipv4peer. Enter No to disable. This configuration is supported from firmware version 20.5.2a.
--urpf string: Enter Yes to configure the maximum route prefix length of 64 along with unicast reverse path forwarding. This configuration is applicable for Extreme 8820, 8720, 8520 hardware.
-h, --help: Help for update.

Examples

This example specifies a delay of 200 seconds before an MCT cluster bring up.

$ efa inventory device setting update –-ip 10.20.24.10

This example specifies a maximum time of 100 seconds that maintenance mode is allowed to complete operations.

$ efa inventory device setting update –-ip 10.20.24.10

This example enables prefix independent convergence on the device.
