Configures IP default gateway priority

Supported in the following platforms:

Syntax

ip default-gateway priority <1-8000>

Parameters

ip default-gateway priority <1-8000>
default-gateway Configures the default gateway
priority <1-8000> Sets the priority for the default gateway acquired via OSPF
  • <1-8000> – Specify an integer from 1 - 8000. The default is 7000.
Note: Lower the value, higher is the priority.

 router ospf
  area 0.0.0.4
  auto-cost reference-bandwidth 1
