Usage Guidelines

Use this command to reset all configuration settings for the specified ports to factory defaults. This includes VLAN/VR membership, load sharing, policies, and all per-port settings for protocols and features. The port configuration is restored to the same state as immediately after an unconfigure switch command.

A maximum of 10 ports can be specified in a single reset command. Consecutive reset commands must have at least a 5-second interval; commands executed within 5 seconds of the previous reset are rejected.

The command displays a confirmation prompt before execution to prevent accidental configuration loss:

Warning: This will restore factory defaults to all port-related configuration
for selected port(s). Do you wish to proceed? (y/N)

Enter y or Yes to proceed with the operation.
