An engine is an instance of a containerized application.
This process follows the user interface to configure the orchestration engine settings
for a stand-alone deployment. From the management IP address, log into the user
interface using the admin credentials that you configured under Use the Basic Configuration Wizard.
Go to Cluster
Settings > Cluster
Configuration and configure the stand-alone cluster following the order shown on
screen:
Deployment
Type
Cluster Node Information
Pod Network
Configuration
Finish
Select the Deployment Type.
For this deployment,
select Universal
Container.
In the Cluster Node
Information section, select Standalone mode
and click Next.
Provide the settings for
Pod Network
Configuration:
Pod Network IP
Address
Pod Network CIDR
Service Network IP
Address
Service Network CIDR
Select Create
Cluster.
Select Done.
Note
The
cluster state is bound to the IP Adresss of the ICC interface. If the ICC IP
address is changed, the cluster state (even if Stand-Alone) is reset.
Cluster configuration will need to be re-initialized and any installed
applications will need to be re-installed.
