Configure a RADIUS Server Group

RADIUS servers offer two different types of services:

  • Authentication for user credentials (usually on port 1812)
  • Accounting (logging) (usually on port 1813)

Security on RADIUS servers is handled with simple passwords. One is configured on the server and the other on each of the clients.

This task is part of the task to configure an SSID for a network policy. Use this task to configure a RADIUS server group.

  1. Type a Name for the group.
  2. Type an optional Description.
  3. Type the IP/Hostname for the group.
  4. Accept the defaults or enter specific Server Type ports.
  5. Type an optional Password.
  6. Select ADD.
