Deletes an existing virtual machine (VM).
| vm | Designates a virtual machine. |
| vm_name | Specifies the VM name to delete. |

Stop the VM before attempting to delete it (stop vm vm_name [forceful | graceful]).
The Extreme Insight feature requires the Solid State Storage Device SSD-120.
The following example deletes the vm "vm1":
# delete vm vm1
This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 30.3.
This command is available on the ExtremeSwitching X465-24MU and X465-24MU-24W switches with a Core license.
