The CLI command show iqagent discovery displays the ExtremeCloud™ IQ (XIQ) instances the IQ Agent attempts to associate with. The added command show iqagent discovery detail runs a script attempting to connect (not associate) with these XIQ instances in order to better provide information to the user to help resolve a connection issue. The script also provides connection status with the HTTP proxy.

The script tests connectivity to the XIQ instances in order displayed in the output example. If the XIQ instance is an IP address, the sub-section will contain an "XIQ Server Status" heading (first column) with a status displayed in the right column. If the XIQ instance is an FQDN, then the domain name will be resolved with a sub-section heading of "Resolved IP." The script will continue attempting to connect to the resolved IP address and provide another sub-section containing the XIQ server status.
The script will resolve the FQDN, connect to the IP address, and then attempt to find the RDC to which the device is onboarded. If the device is onboarded to an RDC, the script will resolve the FQDN of the RDC, then connect to the resolved IP address.

show iqagent discovery detail
