Configure the Cluster Settings

An engine is an instance of a containerized application. This process follows the user interface to configure the orchestration engine settings. From the management IP address, log into the user interface using the admin credentials that you configured when you ran the basic configuration wizard.

To configure the cluster, go to Cluster Settings > Cluster Configuration and use the wizard to configure the cluster using the order shown on screen:

Pod Network Configuration
Finish

Complete these steps to configure the cluster:

From the Deployment Type drop-down list, select ExtremeCloud Edge - Managed Orchestration and select Next.
In the Cluster Mode section, select Cluster mode and enter the ICC IP addressing scheme:
1. From the Number of Nodes to Add drop-down, select the number of nodes for the cluster.
2. From the Number of Availability Zones drop-down, select the number of availability zones for the cluster. You can assign up to three zones (the default is one).
3. Enter the ICC IP addresses that you have assigned to each node.
  
  Note
  If you are deploying multiple availability zones, make sure that each ICC address falls under the zone where you want to deploy that node. Note that each zone requires a minimum of three nodes. For more information, see Availability Zones.
4. Select Next.
Appliance Configuration
Provide the following network settings for Pod Network Configuration:
- Pod Network IP Address—Enter a network address. The default is 10.96.0.0.
- Pod Network CIDR—Enter the number of digits for the pod network mask. The default is 16.
- Service Network IP Address—Enter a network address. The default is 10.97.0.0.
- Service Network CIDR—Enter the number of digits for the service network mask. The default is 16.
Pod Settings
Select Create Cluster.
Select Done.

Once the cluster has been created, tgoing to the Cluster Configuration page displays a read-only view of cluster configuration settings.
