Before configuring Service Probes, be aware of the following restrictions:
On-switch DHCP server — Not supported. The DHCP server requires a port association, which Service Probes do not have.
DHCP relay — Not supported.
Pinging the probe from the OS — You cannot ping a Service Probe's IP address from the management plane via the linked VLAN interface.
Management VLAN — Service Probes cannot be linked to the Mgmt VLAN.
VLAN state changes — If the linked VLAN goes down or comes back up, the probe is unaffected. DHCP configuration is not cleared or renewed automatically. The current VLAN state is shown in show service-probe for reference.
