Configuring BFD

You can enable, disable, configure, and unconfigure BFD.

To enable or disable BFD, use the following command:
[enable | disable] bfd vlan vlan_name
To configure the detection multipliers and TX and RX intervals, use the following command:
configure bfd vlan vlan_name [{detection-multiplier multiplier} {receive-interval rx_interval} {transmit-interval tx_interval}]
To specify either authentication using a simple password or no authentication, use the following command:
configure bfd vlan vlan_name authentication [none | simple-password {encrypted} password]]
To unconfigure BFD, use the following command:
unconfigure bfd vlan vlan_name
