Common Commands
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
| clrscr | Clears the display screen |
| commit | Commits (saves) changes made in the current session |
| exit | Ends and exits the current mode. In the Global cnfiguration mode, this command and moves to the PRIV EXEC mode. |
| help | Displays the interactive help system |
| no | Negates a command or reverts values to their default settings |
| revert | Reverts changes to their last saved configuration |
| service | Invokes service commands to troubleshoot or debug (config-if) instance configurations |
| show | Displays running system information |
| write | Writes the system's running configuration to memory or terminal |
