Known Issues, Platform-Specific, and Feature Change Requests (CRs)

CR Number Description
ExtremeSwitching X870 Series Switches
xos0065093 On ExtremeSwitching X870 series switches, when the management port link is actually down, the command show management on the switch, shows the link as active.
xos0065687 ExtremeSwitching X870 switches cannot participate in mixed stacks. They can be stacked only with other X870 switches.
ExtremeSwitching X620 Series Switches
xos0065878 For ExtremeSwitching X620-16p switches, EAPS convergence time is excessive (230 milliseconds) after disabling a copper port with protected VLAN.
xos0066547 For stacked ExtremeSwitching X620-16P nodes, PSU information does not appear in output of the show power.
Summit X460-G2 Series Switches
xos0066762 On Summit X460-G2 switches, VIM-2t ports only support EEE in 10GBASE-T mode (cannot use 1G speed).
SummitStack
xos0067158

You cannot synchronize a master switch running a version earlier than ExtremeXOS 22.2 to a target node running ExtremeXOS 22.2 or later.

The command fails and the following error message appears: Error: the target slot's partitions are not compatible with the Master's for synchronize.

Policy
xos0065870 Learning of CEP entries depends on the LLDP/CDP update on active ports and on disabling and enabling CEP. New entries are learned only after receiving new LLDP/CDP information, and not from existing LLDP neighbors and CDP neighbors table.
xos0065630, xos0065561 Configuration changes on existing policy mux entries (changing the policy profile for a convergence endpoint to 0 or a different value, disabling LLDP or CDP, etc.) do not take effect until re-authorization. As a result, existing CEP connections remain active and FDB is still learned on policy profile even though CDP/LLDP neighbor times out and show cdp neighbor {detail} and show lldp neighbors is empty.
Workaround: You can force reauthorization by clearing a CEP connection: configure policy convergence-endpoint clear ports [port_list | all].
xos0065870 Learning of CEP entries depends on the LLDP/CDP update on active ports and on disabling and enabling CEP. New entries are learned only after receiving new LLDP/CDP information, and not from existing LLDP neighbors and CDP neighbors table.
xos0065657 If you configure multiple authentication types, failure of a higher priority authentication results in the lower priority authentication being used.
SNMP
xos0066562

When upgrading a switch to ExtremeXOS 22.2 from ExtremeXOS 21.1 (or earlier), SNMPv3 default users that were disabled using the command disable snmvp3 default-users become "active" again automatically since the command is deprecated in ExtremeXOS 22.2.

Workaround: If needed, users can be individually disabled (and enabled) using SNMP by manipulating the "usmUserTable" for the "usmUserStatus" OID. This must be done by a user with a view that allows the manipulation of the SNMP-USER-BASED-SM-MIB.
