CE1000, CE2000, and CE3000 Container Applications

There are three ExtremeCloud IQ Controller container applications available to run on Universal Compute Platform for ExtremeCloud Edge – Self Orchestration deployments:

• CE1000 — The CE1000 application runs on Universal Compute Platform model 1130C and is ideal for small-scale deployments.

• CE2000 — The CE2000 application runs on Universal Compute Platform model 2130C and is ideal for medium-scale deployments.

• CE3000 — The CE3000 application runs on Universal Compute Platform model 3150C and is ideal for large-scale deployments.

Note

• CE application deployments require the purchase of the Activation SKU XIQ-CACT-APP — ExtremeCloud IQ Controller Application Activation Key for ExtremeCloud Edge (Self-Orchestrated) installs

• CE1000, CE2000, and CE3000 use separate image files. You cannot upgrade from one model to another. Container Upgrade File Formats are as follows:

  • CE1000 — .dke

  • CE2000 — .gse

  • CE3000 — .bte
