By default, CPU monitoring is enabled and occurs every five seconds. The
default CPU threshold value is 90%.
Enable CPU monitoring using the command:
enable
cpu-monitoring {interval seconds} {threshold percent}
Where the following is true:
- seconds—Specifies the monitoring interval.
The default interval is 5 seconds, and the range is 5 to 60 seconds. We recommend the
default setting for most network environments.
- threshold—Specifies the CPU threshold value.
CPU usage is measured in percentages. The default is 90%, and the range is 0% to
100%.
