AVB Feature Pack License

The AVB feature (including AVB, gPTP and MSRP commands) requires the AVB Feature Pack. MRP and MVRP do not require the AVB Feature Pack.

The AVB feature is supported on all platforms, except the ExtremeSwitching X590, and X690 and series switches.

If you purchase the AVB Feature Pack license separately, use the enable license command to install it.

Note

The ExtremeSwitching X465 series switches support AVB on the front panel ports only, and only on the following VIMs (all ports):

• VIM5-4X
• VIM5-2Y
• VIM5-4Y
• VIM5-2Q

Note

For ExtremeSwitching 5520-48SE switches, AVB is not supported on the front panel ports with 100M speed.

Note

The ExtremeSwitchingX440-G2 series switches support AVB, but AVB support on 48-port models is limited to ports on the front-panel ports 1–24 and 51–52.

AVB is not supported on SummitStacks.
