This command is available only to users with admin
role.About this task
You configure an agent with the SNMP-trap
destination information and the community. For a given host/community combination, you
can enable either SNMPv1 or SNMPv2 traps, and you can configure nor more than 12 hosts
for a given community.
Procedure

Run the configure terminal command to access
Config mode.
The command line changes
to configuration
mode.
device(config)#

Run the
snmp-server host and
optional parameters as needed for your purposes, as shown in the following
example.
device(config)# snmp-server host 10.23.17.128 public 162 version 2c
