The AP3000X access point supports both PoE 802.3af and 802.3at. It is supported on the following platforms:
  • ExtremeCloud™ IQ

  • Extreme IQ Controller

Antennas

The AP3000X ships with the following antennas:
  • 2 RPSMA dual banded 2.4/5 GHz antennas which are shipped with the AP.
  • 2 Wi-Fi 6 GHz antennas which are permently attached to the AP.
  • 1 Thread®; Zigbee®; Bluetooth® 5.3 Low Energy; IEEE 802.15.4

Radios

The AP3000X has the following radios:

  • Two 802.11ax radios (2X2 2.4GHz/2X2 6 GHz radio, and 2X2 5 GHz radio)

  • One IoT Radio (2.4 GHz)
  • Maximum users:
    • SSID per radio: 8 with a total of 16

    • Users per radio: 512 with a total of 1024

Mode 1 2.4 GHz 5 GHz Two dual band ports. You can change the antennas.
Mode 2 6 GHz 5 GHz Four ports in use, with 2 ports fixed on 6 GHz. The other 2 ports are external antennas.

The AP3000X has the following ports, connectors, and features:

  • One Kensington security slot:
  • One USB 2.0 type A connector:
  • Two Ethernet ports (ETH0 and ETH1)
    • ETH0: 2500/1000/100 Mbps auto-negotiation Ethernet port, RJ45, Power over Ethernet (PoE) at 802.3at and 802.3af. USB is not available with 802.3af.
    • ETH1: 1000/100/10 Mbps, RJ45
