Supported Accessories

The AP3000X comes with the AH-ACC-BKT-AX-TB mounting bracket that can be used to mount the access point on flat surfaces, such as Prelude ceilings (15/16 in. ceiling grid), Suprafine ceilings (flat bottomed 9/16 in. ceiling grid), and walls. The ceiling tile sides must be flat.

Note

Note

An integral antenna is an antenna that's fixed to the AP and cannot be disconnected. An integral antenna is also called a fixed antenna or integrated antenna and can be an internal or external antenna.

Supported Antennas

Two important points:
  • The AP3000X has two integral or fixed antennas which cannot be removed.
  • The AP3000X comes with two AI-DS0305360-RPSMA antennas which you can attach to the AP and use to extend your coverage.
Note

Note

Unlike with earlier APs, you do not need to order two AI-DS0305360-RPSMA antennas seperately. They are included with the AP.
You can extend or improve your wireless coverage by adding additional antennas to your access point. The following table shows the supported antennas.
