Antenna Ports and Configurations

Two important points:
  • The AP3000X has two integral antennas which cannot be removed. An integral antenna is fixed to the AP and cannot be disconnected. It is also called a fixed antenna or integrated antenna.
  • The AP3000X comes with two AI-DS0305360-RPSMA antennas which you can attach to the AP and use to extend your coverage.
Each antenna connection port on the AP is labeled, either 2.4GHz/5GHz or 6GHz.

Unlike with earlier APs, you do not need to order two AI-DS0305360-RPSMA antennas seperately. They are included with the AP.
