Installation Process

Caution

The unit and all interconnected equipment must be installed indoors within the same building, including all PoE (Power over Ethernet)-powered network connections, as described by Environment A of the IEEE 802.3af standard.

Follow these procedures to install the AP3916ic:

1. Verify the box contents.
2. Review the safety guidelines.
3. Mount the bracket to a drop-ceiling. Alternatively, you can mount the AP to a wall, solid ceiling, or a junction/gang box.
   

   Note

   An optional bracket P/N 30516 (WS-MBI-WALL04 wall mounting bracket) is sold separately. This bracket is used for mounting the AP on a solid ceiling, indoor wall, or junction/gang box.
4. Adjust the camera.
5. Configure the camera software.
