Fan Modules

Two fan module options, with front-to-back or back-to-front airflow, are available for Extreme 8730 switch models:

• Part number XN-FAN-006-FB provides front-to-back airflow for switch cooling.
• Part number XN-FAN-006-BF provides back-to-front airflow for switch cooling.

The fan modules labeled Air In provide back-to-front airflow. The fan modules labeled Air Out provide front-to-back airflow.

Fan Airflow Directions

Fan modules are ordered separately for the base Extreme 8730 switch. Fans are included with other models.
