Connect to the Appliance through the ICC1 Port

You can use the ICC1 port to connect to the appliance for initial setup. Note that the ICC1 port has a defined IP address, but you must set your laptop to use the same network segment.
  1. Connect a laptop to the appliance management port.
  2. Configure the laptop Ethernet port of the laptop with a statically assigned unused IP address in the 192.168.10.0/24 subnet.
  3. SSH to the appliance.
    192.168.10.1 is the default IP address on the appliance management port).
    The Universal Compute Platform logon screen is displayed.
  4. To assign network settings, go to Run the Basic Configuration Wizard.
