Take the following steps to configure the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) IP addresses.
- Navigate to .
- From the Interfaces list, select the data access interface that you configured from the System Startup Wizard for (Port 1).
The Port Configuration Settings menu displays.
-
Under VRRP, assign
VRRP IP addresses to this port. Do the following:
-
Select Add and then enter
the VRRP Address and optional Comments that
describe the address.
-
Repeat the preceding substep if you want
to add additional VRRP addresses. You can add up to ten VRRP addresses
on a data port but only a single VRRP address on an ICC port.

Note
To delete an address,
select the adjacent

icon.
-
Set the Priority and
Router ID. If
you've assigned multiple VRRP addresses to this port, these values apply to all
VRRP addresses on this port.
- Repeat this process in each of the nodes of the cluster.

Note
Each cluster node must have the same VRRP addresses
and the same Router ID, but a unique Priority setting. The Priority setting
determines which node in the cluster is the Primary node. The node with the
higher priority is considered the default Primary node.
