BLE Webhook Configurations

When an event is generated for any site in your ExtremeLocation Essentials account, it is sent to your remote web server in real-time. Use the BLE Webhook Configurations window to configure the information required for ExtremeLocation Essentials BLE webhook.

A web server or service must be configured to receive the data. This web server can then pass on the received data to third-party application data processors for further action or it can store the data locally.

To configure ExtremeLocation Essentials for BLE webhook configurations:
  1. Select Settings > System Settings > BLE Webhook Configurations.
The BLE Webhook Configurations window opens.
Click to expand in new window
    BLE Webhook Configurations window
  2. Provide the following values to configure the BLE Webhook Configuration settings:
    Subscriber Push URL
Configure the remote web server URL where BLE webhook notifications can be transferred to in real-time.
    Note

    Note

The web server must listen on one of the standard ports, 443 (https) or 80 (http). ExtremeLocation Essentials does not support web servers listening on ports other than these two ports.
    Username
Set the user name valid for accessing the remote web server.
    Password
Set the password for the above user name.
  3. Select Save to save the changes made to the Subscriber Settings parameters.
At any time, select the Reset button to revert the changes made to the subscriber settings parameters.
  4. Test the connection.
Select Test Connection to test the web server connection. The test also detects and mitigates a blocked tenant. If connection status is successful, blocked tenants are released and ExtremeLocation Essentials begins sending notifications.
