The register message failed the checksum test. The packet would be dropped.
The checksum failure could happen because first hop and RP may be calculating the register checksum differently. The cisco calculates the checksum for register message differently than as recommended by RFC. The default for the extreme is cisco way, which could be changed to RFC method through cli, configure register-checksum-to exclude-data. If the message is encountered even if the source switch is extreme's switch, please make sure that, the configurations on source and RP are identical.
