Debug Mode

The EMS provides a standard way to filter and store messages generated by the switch. With EMS, you must enable debug mode to display debug information. You must have administrator privileges to use these commands. If you do not have administrator privileges, the switch rejects the commands.

Enable or disable debug mode for EMS:

enable log debug-mode

After debug mode has been enabled, you can configure EMS to capture specific debug information from the switch. Details of EMS can be found in Status Monitoring and Statistics.
