Configuring ELRP

By default, ELRP is disabled. The following sections describe the commands used to configure ELRP for use with ESRP (Extreme Standby Router Protocol):

Note

When used on a virtual private LAN service (VPLS) VLAN (Virtual LAN), ELRP does not detect loops involving the VPLS pseudowires.
