Managing NTP Local Clock Support

A local clock serves as backup to distribute clock information
internally when reliable external clock sources are not reachable. Assign a higher stratum
value to the local clock to ensure that it is not selected when an external reliable clock
source with a lower stratum number exists.

    -
To configure a local clock, use the following
          command:

configure
          ntp local-clock stratum stratum_number

-
To delete a local clock, use the following command:

configure ntp local-clock none

-
To display local clock information, use the following
          command:

show ntp association [{ip_address} |
          {host_name}]
        show ntp association [{ip_address} |
          {host_name}] statistics
