Configures the global LLDP transmit interval.

Syntax

lldp hello-timer seconds

no lldp hello-timer

hello-timer seconds: Specifies the global LLDP transmit interval in seconds. Range is 1 to 65535. Default is 30 seconds.

Config mode

The no lldp hello-timer command resets the hello-timer to the default value of 30 seconds.

The following example configures the no lldp hello-timer to 10 seconds.

device# configure terminal 
device(config)# lldp hello-timer 10

device# show running-configuration 
lldp hello-timer 10
