5320 Series switches can stack with themselves and support data rates of 10Gbps on ports U1 and U2 using the default Native-V40 stacking method with SFP+ cables.
The 5320 Series Extended Temperature switches 5320-24T-4X-XT and 5320-24T-24S-4XE-XT can only stack with themselves. They do not stack with any other switches, including the other 5320 Series switches and the 5320-16P-2MXT-2X switch. When stacking with themselves, the 5320-24T-4X-XT and 5320-24T-24S-4XE-XT switches support data rates of 10Gbps on ports U1 and U2 using the default Native-V40 stacking method with SFP+ cables.
The 5320-16P-2MXT-2X switch can stack with itself, with other 5320 Series switches (except the 5320 Series Extended Temperature switches), 5420 Series switches, and 5520 Series switches. The 5320-16P-2MXT-2X switch supports data rates of 40Gbps on ports U1 and U2 using Native-V40 stacking with SFP+ cables.
5320 Series switches (including the 5320-16P-2MXT-2X switch but not the 5320 Series Extended Temperature switches) can also stack with 5420 Series and 5520 Series switches.
The 5520-VIM-4X must be installed on the 5520 Series when stacking with the 5420 Series and 5520 Series switches. Data rates of 10Gbps are supported using the Native-V40 stacking method and SFP+ cables.
When stacking with 5420 Series and 5520 Series switches utilizing the 5520-VIM-4X installed on the 5520 Series and using the SummitStack-V stacking method with SFP+ cables and alternate stacking ports (10G link running at HG), data rates of 10Gbps are supported.
