Configuring MLD version

About this task

Use this procedure to configure MLD version.

Procedure

  1. Enter Interface Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

    interface GigabitEthernet {slot/port[/sub-port][-slot/port[/sub-port]][,...]} or interface vlan <1–4059>

    Note

    If the platform supports channelization and the port is channelized, you must also specify the sub-port in the format slot/port/sub-port.

  2. Configure MLD version:
    ipv6 mld version <1-2>
    Note

    Note

    For MLD to function correctly, the MLD version must be the same on all routers in the network.

  3. Set MLD version to default:

    default ipv6 mld version
