Configure an AS Path List

Configure an AS path list to restrict the routing information a router learns or advertises to and from a neighbor. The AS path list acts as a filter that matches AS paths.

Before you begin

  • To perform this procedure on a non-default VRF, you must first change the VRF instance. For information about how to use EDM for a non-default VRF, see Select and Launch a VRF Context View. All parameters might not be available in non-default VRFs.

  • The VRF must have an RP trigger of BGP.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand Configuration > IP.
  2. Select Policy.
  3. Select the As Path List tab.
  4. Select Insert.
  5. Enter the appropriate information for your configuration.
  6. Select Insert.
