Enable IPv4 Alternative Routes

Enable alternative routes so that you can subsequently enable it on interfaces.

Before you begin

  • To perform this procedure on a non-default VRF, you must first change the VRF instance. For information about how to use EDM for a non-default VRF, see Select and Launch a VRF Context View. All parameters might not be available in non-default VRFs.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, expand Configuration > IP.
  2. Select IP.
  3. Select the Globals tab.
  4. Select AlternativeEnable.

    If the AlternativeEnable parameter is disabled, all existing alternative routes are removed. After you enable the parameter, all alternative routes are re-added.

  5. Select Apply.
