The Layer 2 multicast table has been exceeded and at least one multicast forwarding entry was not added in hardware. This system has cards which have varying Layer 2 multicast scaling limits and the system limit has been reduced to that of the lowest limit.
Removing cards with lower Layer 2 multicast scaling limits can increase the system limit. In addition, "debug hal show ipv6mc" can be used to determine which (S,G) forwarding entries were not added to hardware. Any entry in this display with "L2MC -1" is not currently programmed in hardware.
