ra

Configures RA related parameters, such as the interval between two unsolicited successive RAs. It also allows suppression of RAs.

Supported in the following platforms:

• Access Points — AP7502, AP7522, AP7532, AP7562, AP7602, AP7612, AP7622, AP7632, AP7662, AP8163, AP8432, AP8533
• Wireless Controller — RFS4010
• Service Platforms — NX5500, NX7500, NX9500, NX9600, VX9000

Syntax

ra [interval <3-1800>|suppress]

Parameters

ra [interval <3-1800>|suppress]

interval <3-1800> Configures the interval, in seconds, between two unsolicited successive RAs <3-1800> – Specify a value from 3 - 1800 seconds. The default is 300 seconds. Note: The router-lifetime should be at least three times the specified router interval. suppress Enables the suppression of RAs. When enabled, the transmission of RAs in IPv6 packets is suppressed. This option is disabled by default. The no > ra > suppress command enables the sending of RAs.
