connect (user and privi exec modes)

Begins a console connection to a remote device using the remote device's MiNT ID or name

This command command and its syntax is common to both the User Executable and Privilege Executable configuration modes.

Supported in the following platforms:

  • Access Points — AP7502, AP7522, AP7532, AP7562, AP7602, AP7612, AP7622, AP7632, AP7662, AP8163, AP8432, AP8533
  • Wireless Controller — RFS4010
  • Service Platforms — NX5500, NX7500, NX9500, NX9600, VX9000

Syntax

connect [mint-id <MINT-ID>|<REMOTE-DEVICE-NAME>]

Parameters

connect [mint-id <MINT-ID>|<REMOTE-DEVICE-NAME>]

mint-id <MINT-ID>

Connects to the remote system using its MiNT ID

  • <MINT-ID> – Specify the remote device's MiNT ID.

<REMOTE-DEVICE-NAME>

Connects to the remote system using its name

  • <REMOTE-DEVICE-NAME> – Specify the remote device's name.
