Manages file archive operations

boot

Specifies the boot partition as primary or secondary. The device boots using the image stored in the specified partition.

captive-portal-page-upload (user and privi exec modes)

Uploads captive portal advanced pages to adopted access points

cd

Changes the current directory

change-passwd (user and privi exec modes)

Changes the password of the currently logged-in user

clear (user and privi exec modes)

Clears parameters, cache entries, table entries, and other similar entries

clock (user and privi exec modes)

Configures the system clock

cluster (user and privi exec modes) Initiates a cluster context
configure

Enters the global configuration mode

connect (user and privi exec modes)

Begins a console connection to a remote device

copy

Clears parameters, cache entries, table entries, and other similar entries

cpe (privilege-exec-mode) Enables adopted T5 CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) device(s) management. Use this command to perform the following operations on the CPEs: boot, reload, upgrade. This command is specific to the RFS 4000, NX 95XX, and NX 96XX devices.
create-cluster (user and privi exec modes)

Creates a new cluster on a specified device

crypto (user and privi exec modes)

Enables encryption

crypto-cmp-cert-policy (user and privi exec modes) Triggers a CMP certificate update on a specified device or devices
database (user and privi exec modes) Enables automatic repairing (vacuuming) and dropping of databases (Captive-portal and NSight)
database-backup (user and privi exec modes) Backs up captive-portal and/or NSight database to a specified location and file on an FTP or SFTP server
database-backup (user and privi exec modes) Restores a previously exported database [captive-portal and/or NSight]. Previously exported databases (backed up to a specified FTP or SFTP server) are restored to the original database.
delete

Deletes a specified file from the system

device-upgrade (user and privi exec modes)

Configures device firmware upgrade parameters

diff

Displays the differences between two files

dir

Displays the list of files on a file system

disable

Disables the privileged mode command set

edit

Edits a text file

enable

Turns on (enables) the privileged mode commands set

erase

Erases a file system

ex3500 Enables the EX3500 switch firmware management. Use this command to perform the following operations: boot, copy, delete, and IP related configurations.
factory-reset Erases startup configuration on a specified device or all devices within a specified RF Domain
file-sync (user and privi exec modes) Configures parameters enabling syncing of PKCS#12 and wireless-bridge certificate between the staging-controller and adopted access points

gps (user and privi exec modes)

Triggers the GPS hardware, on a device, to start/stop search for the device's GPS coordinates.

Note:

This feature is supported only on the AP7662 model access point.

halt

Halts a device (access point, wireless controller, or service platform)

join-cluster (user and privi exec modes)

Adds a device (access point, wireless controller, or service platform), as cluster member, to an existing cluster of devices

l2tpv3 (user and privi exec modes)

Establishes or brings down L2TPV3 tunnels

logging (user and privi exec modes)

Modifies message logging parameters

mint (user and privi exec modes)

Configures MiNT protocols

mkdir

Creates a new directory in the file system

Displays the contents of a file

Reverts a command or sets values to their default

on (user and privi exec modes) Executes the following commands in the RF Domain context: clrscr, do, end, exit, help, service, and show
opendns (user and privi exec modes) Connects to the OpenDNS site using OpenDNS registered credentials (username, password) OR OpenDNS API token to fetch the OpenDNS device_id. This command is a part of the process integrating access points, controllers, and service platforms with OpenDNS.
page (user and privi exec modes)

Toggles a device‘s (access point, wireless controller, or service platform) paging function

ping (user and privi exec modes)

Sends ICMP echo messages to a user-specified location

ping6 (user and privi exec modes)

Sends ICMPv6 echo messages to a user-specified location

pwd

Displays the current directory

re-elect

Re-elects the tunnel controller (wireless controller, service platform, or access point)

reload

Halts a device (wireless controller, service platform, or access point) and performs a warm reboot

rename

Renames a file in the existing file system

rmdir

Deletes an existing file from the file system

self

Displays the configuration context of the device

ssh (user and privi exec modes)

Connects to another device using a secure shell

t5 (privi exec mode) Executes the following operations on a T5 device: copy, rename, delete, and write. This command is specific to the RFS 4000, NX 95XX and NX 96XX devices.
telnet (user and privi exec modes)

Opens a Telnet session

terminal (user and privi exec modes)

Sets the length and width of the terminal window

time-it (user and privi exec modes)

Verifies the time taken by a particular command between request and response

traceroute (user-privi-exec-mode)

Traces the route to a defined IPv4 destination

traceroute6 (user-privi-exec-mode)

Traces the route to a defined IPv6 destination

upgrade

Upgrades the software image

upgrade-abort

Aborts an ongoing software image upgrade

exit (privi exec mode) Ends the current CLI session and closes the session window
watch

Repeats the specific CLI command at a periodic interval

virtual-machine (user and privi exec modes)

Installs, configures, and monitors the status of VMs. This command is specific to the NX 95XX and NX 96XX series service platforms.

raid

Enables RAID management. This command is specific to the NX 95XX and NX 96XX series service platforms.
