View Device Logs

You can view real-time events in device-specific logs.

About this task

Device-specific logs, based on RASlog notifications, provide the following information:
  • Host name
  • IP address
  • Message
  • Severity
  • Date

To view the logs for a device, take the following steps.

Procedure

  1. In the Navigation menu, select Configure.
  2. Right-click the device and select View Logs.
  3. To filter the list of logs by a specific message or severity level, take the following steps.
    1. In the Message field, enter some or all of the message text that you want to find.
    2. In the Severity field, enter the full text of the severity level that you want to find.
    3. Select Filter.
