About this task
Perform the following task if have an Android mobile device.
Procedure
- Login to the Mobile App.
ExtremeCloud IQ - Login to the Cloud Network.
ExtremeCloud IQ
Controller - Login to the Local Network.
The Geo Location window opens. If the Geo Location window does not open, then your phone does not support the Mobile App.
- Under Geo Location, select GPS Location.
A confirmation window opens.
- Grant the Mobile App access to your location.
- Precise - Select for detailed location coordinates.
- Approximate - Use for a general location co-ordinates.
- While using the app - You will not have to grant access again.This is the recommended choice.
- Only this time - A one-time access to your location. Select if you do not expect to use this feature often.
- Don't allow - Blocks the app from accessing your location.
Results
If GPS is available, then the GPS Lock Acquired window opens with your Geo-Locations.
