delete
Use this command to delete files.
Syntax

delete WORD<1-255>
-
delete WORD<1-255>
-y
Command Parameters
- WORD<1-255>
- Specifies the name and location of
the file to delete in the following formats: /intflash/<file>, and
/usb/<file>. WORD<1-255> is a string of 1-255 characters.
- WORD<1-255> -y
- Remove file or directory, with
wildcard pattern.
- -y
- Suppresses the confirmation
message before the file copies. If you omit this parameter, you are asked to
confirm the action before the switch deletes the file.
