trace level

Syntax

• trace level [<Module_ID> <0-4>]

• trace level sub-system WORD<1-20> <0-5>

• trace level sub-system WORD<1-20> <0-5> [process WORD<1-20>] slot <slot>

• trace level sub-system WORD<1-20> <0-5> [process WORD<1-20>] slot <SF1 |SF2 | SF3 | SF4 | SF5 | SF6

Command Parameters

<0-4>

Specifies the trace level from 0 to 4, where 0 is disabled; 1 is very terse; 2 is terse; 3 is very verbose, 4 is verbose.

<Module_ID>

<Module_ID> specifies the module for the trace. Different hardware platforms support different ID ranges because of feature support differences. To see which module IDs are available on the switch, use the show trace modid-list command or CLI command completion Help.

sub-system WORD<1-20>

Specifies a sub-system ID.

slot <slot>

Specifies the valid IO slot number. Different hardware platforms support different slot ranges. Use the CLI Help to see the available range for your switch.
