set port

Use this command to administratively enable or disable one or more ports.

Syntax

set port {enable | disable} port-string

Parameters

enable | disable Enables or disables the specified port(s). Default value: port state disabled.
port-string Specifies the port(s) to enable or disable. For a detailed description of possible port-string values, refer to Port String Syntax Used in the CLI in the S-, K-, and 7100 Series Configuration Guide.

None.

Mode

All command modes.

Usage

When force linkdown (see set forcelinkdown) is enabled, disabling a port using the set port disable command will not disable PoE on that port.
