Use this command to set the amount of time a port will remain in the held state after a user unsuccessfully attempts to log on to the network.
| time | Specifies quiet time in seconds. Valid values are 0 - 2147483647. Default: 60 seconds |
| port-string | (Optional) Sets the quiet period for specific port(s). For a detailed description of possible port-string values, refer to Port String Syntax Used in the CLI in the S-, K-, and 7100 Series Configuration Guide. |
If port-string is not specified, quiet period will be set for all ports.

This example shows how to set the PWA quiet period to 30 seconds for ports ge.1.5-7:
System(rw)->set pwa quietperiod 30 ge.1.5-7
