Apply QoS Mutation Maps to an Interface

1. Enter global configuration mode.
   

   device# configure terminal
   

2. Select the policy map.
   

   device(config)# policy-map policyMap1
   

3. Enter interface configuration mode.
   

   device(config-policymap)# interface ethernet 1/1
   

4. Apply a DSCP-to-DSCP mutation map to the interface.
   

   device(conf-if-eth-1/1)# qos dscp-mutation dscpMutMap 		  
   

   Different kinds of mutations can be used.
5. Return to privileged EXEC mode.
   

   device(conf-if-eth-1/1)# end
   

6. Verify the configuration.
   

   device# show qos map dscp-mutation dscpMutMap
   
   Dscp-to-Dscp Mutation map 'dscpMutMap' (dscp= d1d2)
   d1 :  d2 0  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9
   -------------------------------------
    0 :    11 11 11 03 11 11 11 11 11 11
    1 :    11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11

7. Save the running-config file to the startup-config file.
   

   device# copy running-config startup-config
