The AP4020X has two integral antennas which cannot be removed. An integral antenna is fixed to the AP and cannot be disconnected. It is also called a fixed antenna or integrated antenna.
The AP4020X also supports four RPSMA antennas which you can attach to the AP and use to extend your coverage. You can use any of the supported antennas documented in the Supported Antenna section of Supported Accessories.

Connect the external antennas and adjust them for maximum signal.
Procedure
Thread the antennas onto the RP-SMA connector.
Torque the antennas to 5 in-pounds.
Twist all antennas so the bend opening is towards the radome.
Rotate each antenna to the 45 or 90-degree position for maximum signal strength.
