Controller High-Availability Deployment Status

When a pair of controllers are configured for a high-availability deployment, the Dashboard Network Health chart displays the following status:

Synchronization Status — Possible values displayed are described in Synchronization Status Indicators for a High-Availability Controller Deployment.
Availability Link Status — Displays the status of the link between the controller pair, as follows:
- — Link is available
- — Link is unavailable

Note

Both client and AP statistics remain available on both sides of a controller pair. However, cross-controller statistical data can be affected if a mobile user is roaming across multiple APs when the link between the controller pair is down.

Status	Description
Unknown	Link is down.
Synchronized	All changes are pushed to the peer controller. Note: There may be a brief period when a change on the primary controller has not yet been pushed to the second controller. During this time, you could see "Changed" on one controller and "Synchronized" on the other controller. This is resolved as soon as the change has successfully been pushed to the second controller.
Synchronizing	Changes are being pushed to the peer controller.
Changed	Not synchronized. There are pending changes that have not been pushed to the peer appliance.
Failed	Synchronization failed.
