View Access Events

Access Event logs display events related to user access, such as login and logout of registered users, and authentication failures.

Before you can view Access Event logs, you must configure audit events under Administration > System > Logging.

The Access Event logs display in list form, and include the following details:

  • Time — Indicates the time at which the event occurred.

  • Source — Identifies the functional component generating the event, which is useful for troubleshooting.

  • Message — Identifies the user and indicates result of access event.

Use this procedure to view Access Event logs.

  1. Go to Tools > Logs > Access Events.
  2. Optionally, use the Search controls to narrow the list of access logs displayed in the list. Choose from the following actions:
    • Enter unique keywords in the Search Logs field, then select the Exact Match check box followed by the to refresh the Access Events logs list.

    • Enter keywords in the Search Logs field, then select to refresh the Access Events logs list.

    • Use the From, To, and Change controls (with or without defined keywords) to narrow the list of logs displayed to a specific time frame. Select to refresh the Access Events logs list.
