Create Access Policies for SNMP Groups

Create an access policy to determine the access level for the users who connect to the switch with different services like File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Trivial FTP (TFTP), and Telnet.

About this task

You only need to create access policies for SNMP groups if you have the access policy feature enabled.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand Configuration > Security > Control Path.
  2. Select Access Policies.
  3. Select the Access Policies-SNMP Groups tab.
  4. Select Insert.
  5. Enter an ID .
  6. In the Name box, type a name.
  7. From the Model options, select a security model.
  8. Select Insert.

Description

Id

Specifies the ID of the group policy.

Name

Specifies the name assigned to the group policy. The range is 1–32 characters.

Model

Specifies the security model {SNMPv1|SNMPv2c|USM}.
