Extreme
Networks devices typically obtain the time and date for their
internal clocks from an NTP server. Create NTP server profiles in the Common Objects
area first, before creating Network Policies and the VGVAs that reference them.

Select the add icon.

Enter a new NTP Server
name.

Enter an optional description.

For HiveOS Device Sync
Interval, set a polling interval for devices to use for internal
clock synchronization.

For New & Dell Switch Sync
Interval, choose a polling interval to apply to Dell
switches.

To add an NTP server, select the plus sign.

Select an existing NTP server
host name or IP address with the Select icon or
use the plus sign to create a new host name or IP address.

Select Add.

Repeat the procedure to add more NTP servers to the profile
The second entry becomes the
secondary NTP server, and so forth. Since NTP servers are accessed in order from
the top according to their position in the profile, you can use the up and down
arrows to rearrange them if necessary.

Select Save.
